Museum Exhibit

In collaboration with the University of Oregon’s Museum of Natural and Cultural History, a museum exhibit interpreting Eugene’s lesbian history was installed in January 2023 and continues until February 2024.

Outliers and Outlaws:  Stories from the Eugene Lesbian History Project

The Outliers and Outlaws museum exhibit brings the work of the Eugene Lesbian History Project into physical space.  It is a collaboration between the museum, the University of Oregon Libraries Special Collections, and the College of Arts and Sciences and is made possible by project narrators who consulted on the exhibit and whose stories, photos, and ephemera bring it to life for the benefit of the public.

The exhibit and the slate of events hosted in the space throughout the year were designed and coordinated by Liz White, Exhibitions Director, and Lauren Willis, Curator of Academic Programs at the UO Museum of Natural and Cultural History.
